Home/Services/Accounting Catch-Up
For S-Corp clients · Per period

Rebuild the years you'd rather not think about.

Prior-year books reconstructed from your statements, so your 1120S filings, amendments, and extensions are defensible if the IRS ever asks.

When you need this.

Cleanup fixes a messy year. Catch-up rebuilds a missing one. You need catch-up if you're filing a prior-year or amended return with no usable books behind it, if you've gone a year or more with no bookkeeping at all, or if you're trying to bring an S-Corp current after letting filings slip.

What we do.

We reconstruct your books period by period from bank and card statements, loan records, and whatever source documents exist. The result is a defensible ledger for each year — the kind that stands up if a return is ever questioned, and the foundation we need to file accurate prior-year 1120S returns or amendments.

How it's priced.

Catch-up is priced per period, because rebuilding one quarter and rebuilding three years are very different jobs. We assess what's there, quote each period, and you approve before we begin.

Once the books are caught up

If you have unfiled or amended returns waiting on these books, we can file them as soon as the ledger is defensible. See Prior-year returns and Amended returns.

One messy year?

If your books exist but are out of shape, books cleanup is the right service — quoted per job.

Staying current

After catch-up, monthly bookkeeping keeps this from happening again. Bundles with 1120S filing save 15–20%.
